What a great class of third graders! They are ready for the challenge, so let's get really busy! This  week in Bible, we will learn what has happened to the Israelites since they finally made it to the Promised Land.  Some good news, bad news, good news scenarios take place, but God is always faithful.  We are studying from the book of Judges.  In Chemistry, we have been learning how to think like a scientist.  That means taking good care of our fabulous brains (staying hydrated, eating nutritious food, getting plenty of rest, doing exercise to get oxygen to the brain, feeling happy and safe).  This week we will learn about matter and their properties, lab safety, and the scientific method.  Our big, fancy word is Metacognition!  Students will have a vocabulary quiz on Friday - they will get their word list on Monday.
