ELA Week of January 11th-15th

We will be working in "Practice Island". We  will have a test every 10 sentences. The next test will be  Friday the 15th.

Following are the spelling words:

 1)    logic – good reasoning, thinking things through

                                   2)    inclined – interested or likely

                                   3)    bagged – stolen

                                   4)    bearing – going toward

                                   5)    prigs – people too concern with nice manners

                                   6)    wash-out – waste of time

                                   7)    premises – place, area                   

                                   8)    treason – betrayal of a ruler or government

                                   9)    harboring – hiding

                                 10)                       fraternizing  - being friendly   

                                 11)                        gum boots – rubber boots

                                 12)                       stratagem – plan, strategy

                                 13)                       peddlers – people who sell door to door

     Spelling Tic-Tac Toe will also be due on Friday.
