In Bible, we are learning about David became he became King - the shepherd boy, the musician, the aide to King Saul, and the slayer of Goliath. We will begin a personal prayer book and include psalms written by David.
In learning about David's genealogy, the second and third graders became interested in their own family trees. Some of them came home to ask about their genealogy! As an extension, they may create a family tree for display. It is not required, but this would be a meaningful and creative experience.
In Chemistry this week we will learn about the physical property of magnetism. We will follow the scientific method of asking a question, making a hypothesis, research, plan and conduct an experiment, and draw conclusions. What elements have the property of magnetism?
